This makes me want to be a journeywoman. I am thrilled to have found a resource that seems to value similar things to A Smitten Life: authenticity and relationship. Journeywomen podcast features relatable conversations about how to interact with God's word, what it means to live with and in Christ, and about women coming along side one another. I also appreciate how Hunter Beless, the creator, is not afraid to say that the podcast does not take place of getting into the Bible or meeting face-to-face with community. There is a humble, relatable, and practical approach to this podcast which makes it so easy to listen to.

Here are some of our favorite episodes:

Ep. 62 on from life-taker to life-giver: This is a beautiful episode about how God created us to be life-givers, sharing the Gospel and image of Christ with those around us. Our ultimate life-giver is Christ and, through his grace, he uses us to show others glimpses of the joy, peace, love, and life he has given us.

Ep. 59 on women with a past: This episode featured Dr. Sandra Glahn, author of  Vindicating the Vixens. It was a conversation about the "unlikely" women of the Bible and the major role they played in God's redemptive story. A few of the highlighted stories from the Bible are good to recount and think about with further theological commentary about who the women in the story are and the role they are playing within the story.

Ep. 11 Decorating and the Gospel: As a curator of sorts, this conversation was so much fun! It gave me a new prospective on how the space around you can be used to glorify God. I had never really considered how intentionality can be used within your decisions about decorating or designing home. The episode guides you to believe and understand that your home is a unique opportunity to create a space that allows fulfillment of God’s purpose for your family. Things learned from this episode are beginning to become topics of conversation in my home as I enter a new house as a newly married wife. And, tell you what, it makes decisions about the house that much more fun and meaningful.

These are just a taste of the array of topics available on Journeywomen! We highly recommend this the next time you are on a walk, driving, or doing chores around the house.
